“Say Please, Say Thank You” (Ages 4-7)
A hands-on approach to build children’s self-esteem and increase confidence in social situations. Topics include greetings and goodbyes, handshakes, including others, helping others, and other kind things we say and do. Children receive a workbook for additional practice at home.
“Social Etiquette” (Ages 8-11)
Build confidence and self-esteem by learning how to be appropriate and comfortable in social situations. Topics include greetings and handshakes, common courtesies, public etiquette, acts of kindness and respect, host and guest behaviors, image and interviewing. Children receive a workbook for additional practice at home.
“Communication Skills” (Ages 9-12)
This confidence building program is designed to help children learn how to communicate with others in a variety of ways. Topics include: Proper Greetings and Introductions, Conversation Skills, Listening Skills, Public Speaking Skills, Telephone Etiquette, How to Write Thank You Notes. Day one will include Greetings and introductions, conversation and listening. Day two will include public speaking, telephone and electronic etiquette, and thank you notes.
“How to Say It Best” (Ages 5 – 8)
An interactive, hands-on program designed to increase young children’s confidence when communicating with others in a variety of ways. Day one will include Shaking Hands and Making Friends. Day Two will include Conversation, Magic Words and Talking on the Telephone.
“Table Manners” (Ages 8 -11)
Learn the keys to participating in formal dining situations as well as the how-tos for any dining situation. Learn how to set formal and informal table; the proper use of utensils, glassware and dishes; the art of serving and receiving food; how to eat politely; and the art of being the perfect host or guest.
“Pass the Peas, Please” (Ages 4 – 7)
Learn about setting the table, holding and handling utensils and dining behavior, using fun activities, games and more to make mealtime more enjoyable. Children receive a workbook for additional practice at home.
“Social Etiquette and Table Manners Express for Teens” (Ages 12 -16)
Designed for the student with a busy schedule this program highlights important aspects of social etiquette and table manners. Day one will cover welcoming behaviors, common courtesies, etiquette in public places, setting a table and dining basics. Day two will cover how to be a good host and guest, professional image and dress, key elements to consider when being interviewed, handling utensils, eating various food and behavior at the table.
“Social Etiquette and Communication Skills Express” (Ages 12-16)
Designed for the student with a busy schedule, this two-hour class emphasizes the importance of having good manners in all aspects of life. Topics include: Initial Impressions, Dress for Success, Conversation and Listening, Etiquette in Public, Phone and E-mail Etiquette. Do not miss this opportunity to discover what makes someone shine!
